Before you welcome your first guests, make sure you have the knowledge to be successful. Dr. Dan Crafts, Missouri State University, and Doug Breitling, Arsenic and Old Lace B&B, will lead you through an intense discussion of issues to consider before stepping into the world of innkeeping: What it takes to be an innkeeper:

  • planning,
  • zoning,
  • licensing,
  • guest services and relations,
  • financial planning and management,
  • public relations and marketing,
  • goal setting.

Internet Intensive: An In-Depth Tech Workshop and Luncheon**
10:30 am-4:00 pm - Monday, March 5th

An intensive workshop for innkeepers covering Internet marketing, online reservations, and guest management.
