So how does one get to the shindig?
Directions are simple, get yourself heading toward Columbia Missouri which
ever way it is most convenient for you. Click here for the location of
Columbia MO. We are conveniently located between Kansas City and St.
Louis along I-70. THEN, follow the map from which
ever way you are coming to the Donald W. Reynolds Alumni Center; marked on the
map with a bold letter A. Three items about getting around the
campus which need to be mentioned
and are not detailed on the map:
- Between the intersections of Ninth St./University Avenue and Missouri
Avenue/Conley Avenue, that roadway is closed off during the day to
pedestrian access ONLY.
- Between the intersections of Hitt
St./University Avenue and Hitt St./Rollins St., that roadway is closed off
during the day to pedestrian access ONLY.
- A new
parking garage is being built (not sure if it will be done by 10/28 but it might
be) that is located southeast of the Maryland Avenue parking garage near
the intersection of Monk Drive and Hospital Drive. Monk Drive
intersects Stadium Blvd about 1/4 mile west of where College Avenue
intersects Stadium Blvd. FYI - It's just in case the others are full
and this new one is open.
